Francisco López-Tiro

Francisco López-Tiro is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) and Université de Lorraine (France), and a Lecturer at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is a researcher with the CV-INSIDE and CRAN laboratories. He received his M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences and Technologies from INAOE (2019) and his B.E. in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Puebla (2015).

His research focuses on AI and computer vision for medical applications, especially the real-time identification of kidney stones and their composition from ureteroscopic images. He actively contributes to the research community through LatinX in Computer Vision (LXCV) and conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and ICML.
